Jessie is the owner of One Three Counseling, Consulting, and Supervision. She currently sees clients at a limited-basis as she is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina in the Counselor Education Program.
Jessie received her Ph.D. in Counseling and Supervision from the University of South Carolina. She received her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University and a B.S. in Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia.
Jessie is dually licensed in NC and SC as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor. She is also a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor providing counseling for over 14 years. Jessie is trained in mindfulness-based practices and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), a specialized training in trauma and trauma processing.
Jessie works primarily with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who are dealing with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief/loss, anger, behavior, ADHD, ODD and gender identity. Her techniques include play therapy, EMDR, and family therapy.
Jessie believes that the counseling process should be a safe, collaborative, and supportive experience in which the client feels empowered and moves toward positive growth and change.

Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He graduated from the University of South Carolina with an Education Specialist graduate degree in Counselor Education. Chris has three years of experience supporting individuals in creating meaningful change in their lives and six years of experience in similar helping fields. He is deeply passionate about empowering clients to discover their strength, resilience, and ability to overcome obstacles. Whether working with children or adults, he takes a person-centered approach that honors each individual’s unique experiences and needs.
Chris is uniquely trained in Play Therapy as well as substance abuse counseling. Chris works full-time in an inpatient facility for substance use disorders and addiction and has a specialty in working with this population. Additionally, he works with children and families part-time providing play therapy and family supports.
Chris strongly believes in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship, which is built on a foundation of trust, compassion, and a nonjudgmental stance. His goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood, enabling them to explore their challenges and achieve their personal goals.
